Scientific Advisory Board
From
Research
to Practice
We have lots of good ideas
To ensure that these ideas don’t remain just ideas, we at Fab City Hamburg e.V. are guided by a scientific advisory board . This board supports the association in research questions related to urban production, the circular economy, open-source hardware, and the city of the future. This allows us to establish a solid foundation—one that is understandable, practical, and focused on impact.
The Advisory Board was established on June 10, 2024, and operates on a volunteer basis. It helps us contextualize new scientific findings and trends, align our projects with quality standards, and present our results in a way that is relevant to both the urban community and the research community.
